Jordan has spent nearly a decade in energy-focused roles across government, academia, and advisory services.

He leads the energy & climate work of the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) in Indonesia where he spent the last two years as an embedded advisor in a Deputy Minister's office to advance Indonesia's Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) agreement. In this capacity he led efforts to model Indonesia's power sector and design decarbonization pathways, as well as led a working group to implement the US $20 billion deal.

Previously, Jordan lived in Qatar where he worked as a consultant in McKinsey & Company and a fellow at Qatar University. While there Jordan led coverage of the middle east for McKinsey's sustainability and energy transition research team, created hydrogen strategies for Qatar and other LNG producers, and developed decarbonization roadmaps for national oil and chemicals companies in the middle east and southern Africa. Jordan also published and served as a guest lecturer on the geopolitical implications of Qatar's natural gas and LNG export policies.
