Taiwan has been on track to march towards a greener future. Currently, it already is the second-largest PV cell manufacturer in the world. By 2025, Taiwan plans to generate 20% of its energy from renewable energy sources, including 20GW of solar PV, 5.7GW of offshore wind and 1.2GW of onshore wind. With 16 of the world’s 20 most ideal wind sits located in the Taiwan Strait, Taiwan expects another 10GW of offshore wind to be installed by 2035.
Business Connect – Taiwan Business and Trade Show Webinar – Renewable Energy Industry will host keynotes from Taiwan Bureau of Energy, Singapore Ministry of Trade & Industry and TAITRA; and convene policy makers, industry CEOs across the solar, wind, and energy storage sectors.
The event will connect leading Taiwanese companies with ASEAN regional investors and industry companies. The event will also be promoted via dmg’s global network of 1.4 million energy professionals across the continents and strong media network.
