Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) is Thailand’s leading state-owned power utility under the Ministry of Energy, responsible for electricity generation and transmission as well as bulk electric energy sales. We own and operate different types of power plants that are located across the country with a total installed capacity of 15,763.83 MW (as of September 2018).
