Mubadala Petroleum is a growing international upstream oil and gas exploration and production company, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, which is 100 percent owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi. We manage assets and operations spanning 10 countries primarily in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Russia and Southeast Asia. Our current working interest production is approximately 360,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
In the MENA region, we are involved in major projects including the world class Dolphin Gas project, which is central to meeting the energy needs of the UAE; the giant Zohr gas project in Egypt and enhanced oil recovery in Oman. In Russia, we are a partner in the Gazpromneft-Vostok JV to develop and produce oil reserves in Western Siberia.
In Southeast Asia, we are the operator of the majority of our exploration, development and production assets across Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam and have developed a strong track record of safe and efficient operations. In Indonesia, we operate the Ruby gas field and in Malaysia sanctioned earlier in the year the Pegaga gas field development.
In Thailand, we are the second largest crude oil operator in the Gulf of Thailand from three producing fields - Jasmine Field (B5/27), Manora Field (G1/48) and Nong Yao Field (G11/48). We have a well-established community investment program partnering with local stakeholders to support primarily the coastal communities in the vicinity of our operations.
