The Thai Wind Energy Association (ThaiWEA) is a non-profit membership-based trade association which represents developers, equipment manufacturers and service providers with an interest in wind power in the Kingdom of Thailand. ThaiWEA works together with local stakeholders and international non-governmental associations to promote the deployment of wind energy technology in Thailand.
ThaiWEA was formed in 2013 to support its members in the sustainable growth of their business and now has almost 40 corporate members. We coordinate national policy strategic communications, research and analysis and provides customised services to address its members' needs. ThaiWEA organises political, business and educational events, offering the best networking and communications opportunities in the sector.
Through our efforts, we drive employment, investment and the development and skills and technology, which helped Thailand become a leader in renewable energy in South East Asia.
