Energy Analyst/Econometrician at Energy Economics and Forecasting Department, Gas Exporting Countries Forum

Dr Ermakov is an energy analyst with more than 14 years of experience in the energy sector. He joined the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in 2018 as an Energy Econometrician. He is heavily involved in the development of medium to long-term projections of energy and natural gas demand.

His focus is on global natural gas market trends, the role of natural gas in the energy transition, analysis and modelling of energy and electricity markets, and the elaboration of alternative scenarios.

Dr Ermakov has considerable research experience. He is one of the lead authors of the GECF Global Gas Outlook 2050.
