FUTURE ENERGY ASIA 2023 | 17-19 MAY 2023 | QUEEN SIRIKIT NATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER, BANGKOK (THAILAND)

Natural gas plays a significant role in the global drive for net zero emissions ambition. Decarbonisation requires early action and switching to gas can lower emissions today. Switching just 20% of coal-fired power in Asia to gas can potentially save 680 MTPA of CO2 emissions. Asia is expected to lead growth in LNG demand through to 2040. Approximately 40% of LNG growth to be expected in Asia within the timeframe. Gas and LNG, as a transition fuel, represents a key stream across the strategic summit, technical conference and exhibition showcase at Future Energy Asia 2022 – the region’s most important Energy Transition event convening Energy Ministers, industry CEOs. Future Energy Asia has the unique strength in convening (i) Government Ministries that shape the regulations and policy initiatives; (ii) major buyers and portfolio players of Asia; and (iii) key LNG suppliers globally.
